Assalamualaikum...
feels good to be back to the blogging world. i'm not promising a daily update but once in a while should be good enough for a housemen like me..hehhe
i started working almost a month ago. life is not too bad. i was blessed with fellow HOs (E,M & P). we believed tht, if we're not there for each other, no one will. so every evening, when anyone of us is done for the day, we'll check out for the rest. we'll helpl each other to finish everything there is in the ward by 5. i thank god for those three...
My MO, although a bit queit and sarcastic most of the times, is a damned good teacher. Even my reg called him Prof A. he once told me this, 'ko tau tak sebenarnye, cita2 aku nak bukak kedai buku?'. We never had a conversation outside patients' condition, thus when he said that, my only reply was...'ye ke'...
Come down to my reg...he's a great teacher too. but a bit scary. he swears all the time and not to mention, loud. i jumped everytime he ordered something during rounds n demanded that i have everythg in my pocket ( prescriptions, observation chart..probably xrays if someone invented huge pocket for white coat ). despite of that, he's very protective of his subordinates ( HOs n MOs ). once i was being pastered by a patient's family so tht i can finished their discharge summary first when i have a zillion more important thgs to do, my reg came to the rescue. he said 'do not harrased my HOs like tht. u come to the hospital, u have to try to accomodate us.not the other way round. they are busy n they're trying their very best to attend to everythg!' heheh, never felt so appreciated before...
so there u go. life is short. start to appreciate thgs around us as we might not know wht will happen tomorrow. we cant go back n search for time that we've lost. some ppl are blessed with second chance but some arent....i guess, the pass few days had taught me that...
cheer up!
